From the time AJ first attempted an out-of-home diaper change on his daughter Willow, only to find there was no changing station in the men’s room, then peeking into the women’s room only to find a beat up and disgusting public station that he would never lay his little girl upon, he knew there had to be a better way. And there was.
He and Artie quickly whipped up an idea that would bring style, along with enhanced functionality, to that most ubiquitous parental accessory: the diaper bag. And Paperclip was born (pun intended). Paperclip products not only look cool, but bring a whole new level of convenience to those inevitable baby “pit stops.” What makes a Paperclip bag unique is the patented, fold-out changing station that lets parents easily change their child anywhere, anytime.
Artie and AJ, along with their wives, Sara and Abby, launched Paperclip in early 2017 with their first two models, the Willow and the Bear (named after Buckley and Baxter’s children, respectively), the popularity of the company has continued to grow. Not only will you find Paperclip bags being used by everyday moms and dads, but on the shoulders of some of the biggest names in social media, business and Hollywood. And the guys are just getting started…
As Paperclip continues to bring new styles and innovations to market, Artie sums up the vision the brand will always maintain, “We didn’t see any reason why a changing bag, or any product made for parents, couldn’t be great looking and functional at the same time. That is what Paperclip is all about.”
