As much as you might want your kid to start feeding themselves, you’ve got to think about it from their perspective. They’ve got the life. They just get to sit back and relax and [annoyingly] turn their head away while you desperately try and get a bite of food in their mouth. And heaven forbid you try and give them a fork or spoon to use on their own during family dinner. Nope! You know that sh*t is getting thrown straight on the ground.

Which is why I audibly gasped (don’t judge!) when I saw Paperclip’s new color-changing feeding collection. Color. Changing. Yes, the baby gear brand created a bib, suction bowl, suction plate, and a spoon and spork that all change from Light Moon (a purple-ish hue) to Sea Salt (orange-y) when they come in contact with warm food. So your kiddo will get a major surprise when they stick their spork into some pasta!

Color Changing Spork & Spoon Set

Plus, the set is currently on sale for just nine bucks. Your kiddo might not care, but we love the aesthetic of the beechwood handles and that the set is free of BPA, BPS, PVC, and Phthalates. Meanwhile, the entire collection of color-changing products is 30 percent off, and the other pieces are all dishwasher-safe. (Gotta be careful with the beechwood!)
