Being a Sustainable Family

The World Needs Eco-Friendly Diapers And Diaper Bags

Some of us think about diaper changing regularly. For those with babies and toddlers, diaper changing is woven into our lives at least 6-8 times a day. Many of us also think about the environment daily. We do our part to help save the planet so that our kids live long, healthy lives. Who would have thought that the concepts of diapers and our planet’s sustainability could be so intertwined? I’m equally miffed.

Today’s parents have many choices regarding sustainable and eco-friendly diapers, diaper bags, and baby products. We have options about the brands we align with—the ones that share our values and beliefs. Choosing an eco-friendly diaper is just the tip of the baby bottle, so to speak. Our daily choices about diaper bags and everything inside them are equally important. Does the world need eco-friendly diapers and baby products? Paperclip certainly believes it does. I do, too.

The Three Pillars Of Paperclip

Paperclip diaper bags combine sustainability, innovation, and the family experience to provide the best products. The health and well-being of the planet were top of the founder’s minds when they designed them. Paperclip leads the industry by example, as each product is made using recycled plastics found in oceans, rivers, beaches, and fields.

The team at Paperclip is constantly reinventing itself and improving its product line. Their current diaper bags, Jojo and Willow, both have Paperclip’s patented and integrated changing stations built-in. The natural color palette now includes soothing Mushroom and stylish Baked Oak.

Paperclip is creating new lines of diaper bags that appeal to moms and dads alike. They are even designing sustainably-made feeding sets that include utensils, plates, and cups, as well as high chairs, and creating bibs that stimulate a child’s five senses. Now that’s something worth waiting for.

What’s In Your Diaper Bag?

Some of the best eco-friendly diapers are still disposable. No need to use cloth diapers unless that’s your preference. Eco-friendly diapers use safer ingredients and pay more attention to the biodegradation process. Some have no excess colors or prints and are made from biodegradable bamboo, which keeps your baby’s skin dry. These diapers are free of latex, fragrances, antioxidants, alcohol, and preservatives. And can be made from 100% plant-based materials that help protect your baby’s delicate skin.

Other zero-waste and eco-friendly baby products for your diaper bag exist and are worth seeking out. Examples include bamboo utensils, insulated stainless steel (rather than plastic) baby bottles, organic baby soap, and diaper balm. There are also environmentally friendly strollers on the market that use recycled plastic.

Start Now

The world needs, among other things, eco-friendly diapers, diaper bags, and baby products. If you’re a parent looking for ways to stay true to your eco-mindset, why not start there? You’ll not only be satisfied that you are doing your part in the long haul to protect the planet, but you’ll also sleep like a baby at night.

Be on the lookout for new and inventive products from Paperclip. They are thinking well beyond the diaper bag, keeping the planet, and your baby, in mind. Lastly, give yourself a well-earned pat on the back as you change those 6-8 diapers daily.
